Marissa Ringblom is a native of Fremont, Nebraska and participated in softball, basketball, and soccer at Fremont High School. Ringblom continued her education and soccer career at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she played goalkeeper for the Lopers from 2009-2012.
Marissa will enter her fifth season as a head coach for EAA Soccer. She has coached U15-U19 girls over the past four seasons. Ringblom serves as the Co-Director of Goalkeeping. She holds a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma along with Goalkeeping Level 1 and 2 certifications.
Ringblom coached at the collegiate level serving as the women’s assistant coach at Iowa Western Community College during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Both teams won conference titles, region titles, and made NJCAA national tournament appearances.
Ringblom is a certified personal trainer and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Marissa coached summer strength and conditioning for all girls sports at Fremont High School for the last two years and ran strength and agility at Club Legacy Volleyball Academy (2018-2019 & 2019-2020). As the EAA Soccer Sport Performance Director, she has trained several EAA soccer teams and held her own sport performance camps.
Marissa and her husband, Eric, live in northwest Omaha and enjoy watching and playing sports together, walking their dog, and spending time with friends and family.
