Key Points:

• We have asked the coaches to conclude practices 5-10 minutes before their scheduled end time and start practices 5-10 minutes after their scheduled time to help improve social distancing during practice transitions
• Coaches and Players are required to be masked during practice and when transitioning in and out of the facilities.  
• No parents allowed in the facility (some flexibility if needed with our younger age groups) - pick up and drop off only.

Elkhorn Edge Select Softball Teams are for players ranging from age 7-18.  Team rosters are formed with players looking for a competitive girls fastpitch team with the goal to prepare to play for high school and college.  These players come from within the Elkhorn School District, as well as surrounding districts.

Edge Teams are funded solely by team members through fees and/or fundraising.

SEASON PLAY

The season begins with practices in January and games played through early to mid June.

COST

You can pay in full or select the payment plan option which will utilize auto payments.

The Per Player Cost is the minimum amount due.  There may be additional team fees from Coach Budgets due in September which will be communicated to families and collected via an email invoice in early 2021 (this may include extra tournaments or practice sessions, etc).

Payment Plan Option Available: $50 is added to the EAA Select Edge Softball Registration Fee for the Payment Plan Option. Players will pay a non-refundable initial payment of $350 to secure their spot on their team.  The balance will then be split into two payments paid on October 15 & January 15.

COST INCLUDEs

• Access to our new Field House training facility with 3 hitting/pitching tunnels and open turf field space
• Field maintenance and preparation for home games
• EAA Team and Player Insurance
• Minimum of 26 total field allocations for games or practices in April 1st – July 1st
• Game balls, scorebooks & lineup cards plus a team equipment allocation
• USSSA and USA Team Registrations
• Registration for GOSL League Play 
• A tournament allocation for an estimated 5 sanctioned tournaments based on age and cost
• 90 minute practices at Elkhorn Training Camp utilizing a 70 x 70 quad space + one batting tunnel for months of Jan, Feb and Mar  - 1x/week for 8U & 2x/week for 10U & Up

SPONSORSHIPS/FUNDRAISING

Business sponsorships are not accepted for individual EAA Registration Fees, however they can be applied to additional team budget costs.  Players may participate in one of our EAA fundraising options (Hardy Coffee in August or Christmas Wreaths in October through November) to reduce their cost; we will subtract the funds your player earns and refund the amount to families in January.
