The Elkhorn Athletic Association (EAA) has hired Joe Greco, as the new Director of Strategic Priorities and Development. Joe has his Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership (EdD) and was most recently an Assistant Principal at St. Stephen the Martyr and was a Social Studies teacher at Millard South High School for 6 years. He is also a former High School and Collegiate athlete.
“EAA’s mission and future goals drew me toward this role not only as a member of the team but also as a parent and community member excited for the next chapter of youth sports in the Greater Omaha Area and beyond.”
Primary Duties: The outdoor sports complex is one of EAA’s biggest strategic organizational priorities; therefore, we need to marshal our focus/resources accordingly. Joe’s primary duties will encompass directing the organization’s strategic priorities while making our programs better and enhancing the player and coach experience. Duties will also comprise fundraising efforts for the MD West ONE Sport Complex, including the Give Like a Champion capital campaign. Additional principal duties include engaging current and new donors and partners to secure gifts and building a strong and diverse network of stakeholders.
We are excited that Joe will be joining the organization in this capacity and bringing his passion and experience to EAA. Joe is a native of Omaha and attended high school at Millard South. Joe and his wife live in Elkhorn and have 3 children (ages 11,9,7). They proudly have their kids participating in EAA.
We believe Joe’s various youth and collegiate sports experiences, along with his educational and leadership experiences, will provide valuable contributions to EAA, our players, parents, and coaches in the years to come.
Joe officially started with EAA on July 1, 2021.
