Evolution Softball

League

Evolution Softball is a recreational league for players ranging from 4-14.

  • Rosters are generally formed with players that attend the same school within the Elkhorn School District.
  • Generally play against other EAA teams
  • Depending on the age group, roster sizes are approximately 10-12 players.

Registration Info

Registration Open Registration Closes Age Cutoff
October 1st January 31st December 31st prior to next season

Fees increase $30 February 1st

Registration may be extended based on availability.

Season Play

The Evolution season begins with practices in late March and early April. Games generally begin in May and run through the end of June.

Refunds for cancelled registrations:

  • After February 15th:
    • Order total minus a $25 uniform fee.
  • After 1st Practice:
    • Order total minus a $25 uniform fee.
    • 50% of the remaining balance is refunded.

  • EAA General Operating Costs
  • Umpires

6U T-Ball

  • 8U Play Up option: 2 years of softball experience and age 6 by December 31st.
  • Practices and games: Skyline Elementary School on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.
  • Registration fee includes:  Game shirt and a Participation Medal
  • Pictures are an additional cost.
  • In the interest of player health and safety, EAA follows area protocol and requires each player to purchase their own helmet.

*Volunteer Coach:  Head Coach and Assistant Coach will receive a game shirt.

8U Coach Pitch

  • 10U Play Up option: 2 years of softball experience and age 8 by December 31st.
  • Practices and games: Skyline Elementary School on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
  • Registration fee includes:  Game shirt and a Participation Medal
  • Pictures are an additional cost.

  • Practices and games: Fire Ridge Elementary School on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings.
  • Registration fee includes:  Game shirt and a Participation Medal
  • Pictures are an additional cost.
  • In the interest of player health and safety, EAA follows area protocol and requires each player to purchase their own helmet.

12U Player Pitch

  • Practices and games: West Dodge Station on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Registration fee includes:  Game shirt and a Participation Medal
  • Pictures are an additional cost.
  • Open to Bennington players.

Additional Questions

Do you offer friend and coach requests?
Yes. During registration you may include a friend and/or a Coach request. We will do our best to grant your request however we cannot make a guarantee.

How do I volunteer to be a Head Coach, Assistant Coach or a Team Manager?
Parents of a player may volunteer during registration.

Do you offer payment plans?
We may offer payment plans on select programs. If a payment plan is offered, it will be visible on the checkout page.

What is a processing fee on my order?
EAA passes a small processing fee to each checkout. This allows us to capture the full total of your order and provide you a great experience in youth sports. 

What is the Elkhorn Training Camp/Xplosive Edge and is it owned and managed by the Elkhorn Athletic Association?
The ETC (Elkhorn Training Camp) is a new facility in Elkhorn across from The Marc that allows for indoor training for your athlete. The ETC is not owned or managed by the EAA. The EAA is a customer of the ETC. We work with them to provide EAA athletes indoor training, practices and clinics during the winter months. Learn More about ETC.
