Evolution Baseball


League

Evolution Baseball is a recreational league for players ranging from 4-18. Team rosters are generally formed with players that attend the same school within the Elkhorn School District. Evolution teams generally play against other EAA teams. Players in the 9-18 age groups may play with teams outside of the EAA.

EAA Highschool teams, 16U-18U,  will play Teams in the MABL (Metro Area Baseball League).  The 16U (15/16) and 18U (17/18) Divisions play teams from across the greater Omaha area.

Registration

Registration begins October 1st and runs through January 31st. (Age cutoff is April 30th) Registration may be extended based on availability.

*Fees increase $30 February 1st. (5U-14U)
 

Season Play

The Evolution season begins with practices in late March and early April. Games generally begin in May and run through the end of June.

Refunds for cancelled registrations:

  • After February 15th
    • Order total minus a $25 uniform fee.
  • After 1st Practice:
    • Order total minus a $25 uniform fee.
    • 50% of the remaining balance is refunded.

  • MABL registration fee

*In the interest of player health and safety, EAA follows area protocol and requires each player to purchase and provide their own helmet.


Additional Questions

Do you offer friend and coach requests?
Yes. During registration you may include a friend and/or a Coach request. We will do our best to grant your request however we cannot make a guarantee.

How do I volunteer to be a Head Coach, Assistant Coach or a Team Manager?
Parents of a player may volunteer during registration.

Do you offer payment plans?
We may offer payment plans on select programs. If a payment plan is offered, it will be visible on the checkout page.

What is a processing fee on my order?
EAA passes a small processing fee to each checkout. This allows us to capture the full total of your order and provide you a great experience in youth sports. 

What is the Elkhorn Training Camp/Xplosive Edge and is it owned and managed by the Elkhorn Athletic Association?
The ETC (Elkhorn Training Camp) is a new facility in Elkhorn across from The Marc that allows for indoor training for your athlete. The ETC is not owned or managed by the EAA. The EAA is a customer of ETC. We work with them to provide EAA athletes indoor training, practices and clinics during the winter months. Learn More about ETC.

What is the MABL league? 

The Metro Area Baseball League (MABL) is a high school age league throughout the Omaha metropolitan area. The league offers competitive Varsity and Jr. Varsity divisions. MABL is an excellent and affordable option for players not on their high school rosters.

Registration opens October 1st, 2018

Evolution Baseball registration now opens October 1st. The is a change from past years when registration opened January 1st. The EAA continues to grow requiring more time for us to prepare for the season. Registration will now be open from October 1st to January 31st. This will allow us time in February and March to build teams, schedules and communicate to parents and coaches.
